Parish Plan – Broadband and Mobile Phone Services Slow broadband speeds and poor mobile phone reception were amongst the issues prioritised by High Legh residents when the analysis of the Parish Plan Questionnaire was made public. The Broadband and Mobile Phone Working Group, (set up to seek solutions), has now met and agreed upon the most appropriate plan of action... including direct liaison with service providers.
What are we going to do?If we are going to put forward a convincing case that improvements are necessary and urgent, we need specific/quantifiable data to support our argument.
What can you do?Please could all parishioners and businesses that use broadband and/or a mobile phone, whilst within the boundaries of High Legh, complete a short questionnaire. The higher the number of people and businesses subjected to poor services and the more profound the impact, the better our chances of getting providers to improve things. With this in mind, the questionnaire will include ‘blank’ space for you to add comments, e.g. is it your educational, work-from-home or business use that is affected. So, please complete the questionnaire and help us to help you! (It will take just a few minutes... honestly.)
